Gift yourself 90 minutes a week to make progress on your projects or reading list.  Receive tips and tools for increased productivity and enjoyability.  Be part of a private Facebook community where gentle accountability and celebratory cheers keep the process fun and fulfilling and relevant articles and resources are shared.

Is this circle for you?

The 4 Rs evolved out of a friend's quandary regarding a decision to take another training.  She already had lots of materials and books on the topic.  What she really needed was dedicated time and space (aka structure) in her busy week to actually read, review, and do research on the topic, not take another course.  Can you relate?
Relax
The first R is for relax because when our minds and bodies are in a relaxed state its easier to access our creativity, imagination and the wealth of information stored in our subconscious.

We begin each session with a grounding activity that helps you settle into your version of the Purple Ink Cafe. We walk you through simple steps that will help you let go of all the stress of your day so that you can get to your reading, reviewing and research.

Read
The second R is for Read.  Perhaps you are like me and buy lots of books but never find the time to read them from cover to cover.  This circle provides you with dedicated time to relax and simply read.

We will also provide you with some reading tips, and ideas to get the most out of your reading time.
Review
The third R is for Review.  Like my friend, you may have lots of materials and resources on a topic for which you just need to find time to review.  Or maybe you have unfinished courses that are leaving you with a nagging sense of guilt or feeling like your to do list is incomplete.

Setting time aside each week to gather your thoughts and materials will allow you the space you need to make some decisions regarding the action you need to take.
Research
The final R is for Research.  This may or may not apply to you.  But for most people there is often a decision left unmade because of a lack of having 'all the facts'.  Whether that is regarding a purchase of a new computer, or developing a new course, research is necessary.

We live in world of information overload.  Shifting through information takes time and this circle will provide that for you.

FAQs

Why would I pay for something like this?
Good question.  I liken this circle to a yoga class.  You can do yoga on your own and receive instruction from dvd's and books but it's not the same as taking a yoga class and experiencing the focused energy of a group.  The cost is reasonable and the investment will help you be accountable and take the action you haven't been able to do on your own.

Is there coaching involved?
No.  The circle is intended to provide you with the time and space to take action on that stack of unread books or unfinished course materials that you may have accumulated.  1:1 coaching is available as a separate offer.

What’s the difference between a circle and a master mind?
The main difference is the degree of facilitation, instruction and individual attention.  A circle is guided and consists mainly of shared supported space/time to take action on your individual project or goal.  A master mind is facilitated and includes a teaching component, time for each individual to focus on their specific needs as well as take action on towards their goals.  Master mind groups provide more individual support and connection between session through a private Facebook group.  Master minds are also limited in size to 6 members.

What if I don’t like it or can’t continue?
The first week is free so you can decide at that time whether you want to continue or not.  After week one consider your very reasonable investment as an incentive to help you to show up for yourself.  Extraordinary circumstances will be reviewed on an individual basis.

What technology do I need?
We will be using Zoom - a free video conferencing platform. It is compatible with Macs, PCs, smartphones and tablets that use Android or IOS systems. You will receive the link and meeting information when you register. Zoom will access your webcam. You can always turn this off but your experience will be enhanced when you can see your fellow patrons.

Will the sessions be recorded?
Sessions may be recorded but only for my personal reference.

I’ve never been in an online group before. How will it feel compared to a live group?
One of the biggest benefits of any group is that you get to bond with other members. They are your tribe and you will find a lovely level of comfort with them. Sharing virtual space with them may feel a little different in the beginning but it has been my experience that virtual groups connect and bond just as live groups do. And, just think of it. There are no geographical restrictions - you can meet people from all over the the world. And, you can “come as you are” from the comfort of your own home.
