- Structure is key, and ours is flexible and allows for creative detours.
- Connections, community, shared expertise and resources enrich a master mind, so we have a private Facebook group just for the master mind members, plus after the 10 weeks are over, you are invited to continue in a larger but still private Purple Ink Cafe Facebook Group.
- Recordings are available for all sessions.
- Action is almost impossible not to take! Each session has time build right in to take a small step toward your goal.

Meet your facilitators
Kathy Kane
I am a creativity coach, or, as I prefer to think of it, a “personal freedom fighter”. I work with individuals and groups to to facilitate gradual lasting change in their lives. I ask questions; I listen. We break goals down to tiny steps and then we might break them down a little further. I provide a positive experience during a coaching session that doesn’t overwhelm and lets my clients feel witnessed and tended. This is particularly powerful for those desperate for personal and professional transition. It helps them open doors to possibilities in the second half of life.
My own personal freedom shows up as a writer, a blogger, a lover of the written word; a speaker and creativity and writing workshop leader. It allows me to be a Master Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach™, a Certified Modern Day Muse Group Facilitator, an Amherst Writers and Artist workshop leader and one of the KMI Master Mind™ Founders and Facilitators. |

As a Creative Thinking Coach I provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore, express, elevate and celebrate your creative process. Creative people need structure. They also need systems and strategies that are flexible and support the nonlinear aspect of the creative process. How will a KMI Master Mind™ experience be different than a traditional master mind?
KMI Master Minds™ are based on the Kaizen philosophy and are infused with creativity. The KMI Agenda™ provides a fluid and flexible structure that support thinking differently, percolating effortlessly, innovating imaginatively and creating joyfully. KMI Master Minds™ are process focused with the aim to build a sustainable momentum while working towards your goals. They offer a gentler kind of accountability and there is always time within the master mind to take action on your project or goal. We share tips and tools for thinking differently, which can then be used in the very focused master mind section. It’s a unique approach to master minding.

Kaizen is a philosophy of small steps towards continuous improvement. The process breaks down large projects into such small, manageable bites that you are able to bypass procrastination and perfectionism--two enemies of real progress. Kaizen defuses resistance and overwhelm and allows you to accomplish your goals in a gentle, supportive manner. It’s about enjoying what you are doing as you are doing it and not just being focused on the end result.
What does KMI stand for?
KMI originally stood for Kaizen-Muse Infused. It derives its name from the body of work produced by Jill Badonsky, who blends the principles of Kaizen with creativity in her coaching training. KMI is just easier to say and over time has grown on us. K might also stand for Kathy and M for Mary and the I, well, there are any number of (Ideas, Imagined, Innovated, Inspired, ...).
What kind of technology do I need?
The master mind sessions will take place on a video conferencing platform called Zoom. You can access Zoom via computer/laptop, tablet, or mobile device. You just need to download and install a free piece of software. We recommend using the video conference app for a richer experience. If however, you are unable to join by video there is a call in feature. Long distance charges may apply.
Is there an option to pay in installments?
Yes. Payment can be made in two installments. If you require an alternative payment plan please e-mail info@thepurpleinkcafe.com. Requests will be considered on an individual basis.
I'm a Canadian! Can I pay in Canadian dollars?
