Planning

Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.  – Gloria Steinem
It’s THAT time of year. Yes, winter weather, holiday parties and the feeling of all things business taking a back seat for a few weeks.

At the same time my inbox is flooded with reminders and webinar invitations and online course suggestions to begin planning for 2017.

Actually, this is a really good time for planning. A softer time. As a coach who employs the principles of Kaizen I know I can do this in small steps. I’ve already begun asking myself small questions around how I want next year to look and what are things that will make it happen. And yes, a little dreaming, too.
I’m lucky. I have a business partner, Mary McDowall, with whom I can do this. Someone with whom I can think aloud, brainstorm, toss ideas back and forth. She is also someone to whom I’m accountable. We each bring different skills, life experience and resources as well as our individual creativity to the partnership and yet we are similar in our basic core values and visions. When we meet (and, by the way, we’ve never met in person) all of this becomes a master mind.

Our joint venture, The Purple Ink Café, is a place to meet up with your creative genius. We do this in several ways but our signature offering is our KMI Master Mind™. That is where creativity meets Kaizen. In a flexibly structured session folks get to do the things Mary and I do. They show up with their skills and experience and resources; they brainstorm and support each other and leave with a small step that leads to sustainable momentum.

Why do I talk about this in a post that started out talking about planning for 2017?

To suggest that you look at the KMI Master Mind™ Facilitator Training program when you think about how you will develop your business in 2017. If you’re a coach or consultant or even someone with a unique skill or idea to share, chances are you love to bring people together in small groups. Our master mind model has proven successful for people in both business and personal goals. Its uses are only limited by your imagination and passion.

One unique feature of this training is that you get to experience the KMI Master Mind™ as you learn how to run your own. You get to master mind your plan for getting started. We don’t show and go. We stick with you because your success is our success.

Our early bird special runs through January 6th. Hop over here and see what it’s about and how being a certified KMI Master Mind™ facilitator can make a difference. Contact us with your questions or to set up an online meeting. We love to talk about the KMI Master Mind™. It’s been a game changer for us and we know it will be for you, too.
